The project consists of two components- EMP of billet manufacturing plant’s capacity enhancement
EIA of reservoir and pipeline to draw water from Feni river to BSRM facility in Mirsarai Chattogram.
BSRM wants to increase its billet manufacturing capacity from 0.5 million tons per annum to 1 million tons per annum that requires more water. For this purpose, the company wants to build a reservoir at the Dhoomghat point of Feni river to draw water using a 7.5 Km long pipeline to the BSRM plant loctated in Khilmurari Mirsarai.
